Jonathan Hirst is a senior infrastructure leader with more than 26 years’ experience delivering complex public and private-sector projects across Australia and the United Kingdom.

With foundations in construction and extensive executive leadership across project, program, and transaction environments, Jonathan brings deep expertise in governance, commercial structuring, procurement strategy, risk management, and end-to-end capital delivery.

He has led major infrastructure initiatives across health, justice, and civic portfolios, operating in high-profile, highly scrutinised environments requiring disciplined assurance, stakeholder alignment, and delivery certainty.

Jonathan’s experience spans the full project lifecycle — from early-stage strategy and business case development through procurement, construction delivery, operational readiness, and commissioning. His ability to integrate strategic intent with operational execution enables clients to move confidently from concept to completion.

Internationally, Jonathan served as Construction Manager with Bouygues UK on the landmark Home Office Headquarters redevelopment in central London, following senior roles with tier-one contractor ISG. This global perspective complements more than two decades of leadership within Queensland’s infrastructure landscape.

He is recognised for building trusted executive relationships and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams. Known for calm, solutions-focused leadership, Jonathan applies structured problem-solving and design-thinking approaches to navigate complexity, manage risk, and unlock value-driven, community-focused outcomes.
